50 Ton Hydraulic Presses for Sale

Looking for a 50 ton hydraulic press? It is one of the most common sizes we stock, with dozens on the floor at any time. Most are compression molding and heated platen presses for rubber, composites and plastics, and the most common builders are Wabash, PHI and Dake. Platens run from about 12" x 12" up to 45" x 45", with controls for cure time and temperature. The rest are four-post, gap frame and trim presses for forming, assembly and trimming castings, with beds up to 10 feet wide and strokes up to 48".

Is 50 tons enough? Spread over an 18" x 18" platen, 50 tons is about 310 psi on the part; over a 12" x 12" platen it is about 690 psi. If your material needs more pressure than that, look at 75 ton or 100 ton hydraulic presses. For lighter work, see 40 ton and 30 ton presses.
