Meehanite Cast Frame

Cast iron is the superior material for press frames. All of Federal's major structural members are made of high-tensile strength, machine-tool grade Meehanite cast iron. The natural properties of Meehanite, combined with proper frame design, offer high compressive strength, exceptional rigidity, and vibration-dampening qualities. These frames are built to withstand overload deflection without permanent deformation.

Ball-Type Connection
